Quality
The Vision Link Wireless Nurse Call System was the first and is still the only complete wireless nurse call system that is certified with a UL1069 listing for “Hospital Signaling and Nurse Call Equipment”. This means that it is tested much more rigorously than other systems on the market including one million repetitions without a single failure. Systems Technologies also receives a quarterly surprise inspection to ensure that quality manufacturing procedures are followed and documented. Additionally, when any of our wireless stations alarm, they send 24 transmissions over 24 separate frequencies to ensure that the signal always arrives at the console (receiver). Each station and transmitter is also supervised by the system to ensure the battery and station are in good working order. Station battery life is typically 4 to 6 years and low battery warnings appear at the console three weeks before the battery requires
replacement.

► Long Term Care
Our wireless nurse call systems have all the stations of a regular wired system but can bring additional features including quality assurance reports for staff accountability, portable transmitters for mobile patients, wireless door/window exit notification, wireless bed/chair exit notification, wandering patient notification, alarm events and text messaging to staff pocket pagers or wireless phones and so much more.

► Expansion of Existing Facilities

► Field Hospitals
Wireless pendant transmitters can “hang” from the patient bed rail and when pressed, notify medical staff that assistance is needed. These water-resistant wireless units can be used indoors or out - even in the shower. ► Shipboard Infirmaries

► Temporary Nurse Call
If an existing wired nurse call system is “down” because it is being replaced or is simply broken, no need to move your patients. Just open the suitcase, plug the MicroVision console into an electrical outlet at the nursing station and hang a pendant from each patient’s bedside. No matter how long it takes to fix what you have in place, you will have something that continues to do the job of signaling your nursing staff. When the patient presses their button (or pulls their cord) the console will continue to visually and audibly annunciate the alarm until staff goes to the patient and “cancels” the alarm on the pendant or station.

► Clinics
Wireless push button stations for exam rooms and wireless pull stations for bathrooms ensure that you can open a clinic quickly and inexpensively without a lot of unnecessary wiring. Need dome lights over the doors? No problem. We have those, too.

► Security
Whether security personnel need an inconspicuous transmitter clipped to their belt or attached under a desk, we can provide it along with notification to whoever is desired by pocket pager, cellular phone, email, central monitoring station, wireless phone and more. The coverage area can be a wing, building, campus or military base. Repeaters simply plug into any available AC electrical outlet or they can be powered by solar power, generator or other source and ensure that coverage is as broad as you need it.

► Meeting JCAHO accreditation mandates
Systems Technologies manufactures wireless IV pump and ventilator alarms for nursing stations beyond “earshot” of patient rooms. We manufactured one model specifically for a VA Hospital needing an acoustic coupler to send a signal if an IV pump that could only make an audible tone went into alarm state.
